If your resume isn't precise and does not flow correctly then the employer will simply disregard you resume. What Makes a good resume?
- Make your resume brief and effective - no more than a couple of pages
- Start from the present and work backwards. Current information is more relevant to employers
- Make sure the resume is consistent, same fonts, date format etc. An inconsistently types resume can often put the employer off
- Make sure the layout is presentable and readable. For example OneUmbrella states 'you should leave plenty of white space, leave good margins at the top and bottom and on the sides. This creates a pleasing, well-planned appearance.
